VERMEILLINE started at a repair bench in Lower Manhattan, where our founder spent ten years fixing jewelry that was loved half to death. She noticed the pieces that survived were never the precious ones — they were the simple, solid ones people forgot to remove. So she built a studio around that idea.
Every piece begins as recycled sterling silver, thickly plated in 14k gold and finished by hand in small batches. No trend cycles, no seasonal drops, no velvet-box ceremony — just warm, quiet gold made to live in.

Is the gold real?
Yes — every piece is genuine 14k gold vermeil: a recycled sterling silver core plated in a thick layer of real 14k gold, stamped 925 on the clasp or inner band. It is the same vermeil standard fine jewelers have used for a century, and it wears like gold because it is gold.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders leave our New York studio within one to two business days and arrive in three to five days domestically. You will get a tracking number by email the moment the box ships, and shipping is free on every order.
What if it isn't for me?
Wear it for 30 days; if it doesn't earn its place in your routine, send it back for a full refund — no questions asked. Return shipping within the US is on us.
How do I choose a size or length?
Rings run true to standard US sizes 5 through 9; when you're between sizes, size up for closed bands and stay true for open styles. Necklaces come in 16, 18, and 20 inches — 18 sits right at the collarbone and is the length we wear most.
Does it come gift-ready?
Every order arrives in our ivory keepsake box with a cream ribbon, and the layering set and gift duo are designed to need no wrapping at all. We never put prices in the box, and a blank card is included when you want to say something.
How do I care for vermeil?
Keep it out of the pool and the gym, wipe it with the enclosed soft cloth now and then, and store it flat in the pouch. Do that and the plating — five times thicker than fashion jewelry — will keep its glow for years.
